Labyrinth of Green – A Successful Launch
The official book launch for Labyrinth of Green was held September 28th at the Salt Spring Public Library. There was a full house and books sold out quickly. Salt Spring Books has ordered another shipment as requests for the book continue to come in. Elly Silverman provided a warm introduction and read from her preface to the book. Diana read a selection of poems from each of the five chapters, providing a short introduction for each theme. The event was warm, intimate, and uplifting. There was time for questions, mingling, and refreshments at the reception following the reading.

A launch will be held at the Twisted Poets Literary Salon in Vancouver on October 24th at the Cottage Bistro, 4468 Main Street.
A salon-style reading will be hosted by Mary Ann Moore in Nanaimo on November 9th.

The Salt Spring Public Library will be hosting an exhibit of Diana Hayes’s photographs for the month of December. A reception will be held December 3rd.
